Rented Rocky Hill for November Holiday weekend wanting a secluded, quiet location as described in listing. With three adults were looking for a place to hang out, room for the dogs to run and comfortable seating/eating areas in case weather was bad. We were moved to Cat's Lair at check in due to water problems at Rocky Hill. Our biggest problem was that Cat's Lair was in a neighborhood setting and not secluded at all, but it does have city water. All the cabins on the road were occupied. They are at least 6 homes under construction next to and behind the cabin. Power tools and workers Friday morning at 9am was not the quiet porch sitting morning we had hoped for (weather was great). The cabins layout was not one we would have rented. The first floor consists of the kitchen, two bedrooms, a dining table for 8 and only two chairs in front of fireplace. With three adults, it made relaxing difficult. The basement has the only tv, not an issue for us, we never turned it on. The sofa and loveseat in basement is the same in current photos but has more exposed stuffing and duct tape than leather at this point. We did not use the basement at all. Cat's Lair was clean overall. The crews were rushed to get it finished for us due to last minute change and missed a few minor details in the kitchen. Beds on first floor were comfortable and actual queen size, not fulls size listed as queens. The front/side yard was great for the dogs, room to run and play. Everyone at check in and the cleaning crew were very nice and we had a great weekend, just a little disappointed to not be as secluded as we hoped.

The cabin was clean and as expected for a cabin in RRG. The response was quick when we had a basic maintenance issue. It’s in a great location near many of the restaurants we like and trail heads. As the listing states, it is pretty far back on a hilly and rough single lane gravel road but we had no problem coming and going multiple times a day.

This cabin was a really cool stay! We had a great time! We loved how close it was to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Something to note is that the road to get to the cabin is a little scary in a car (it is gravel and very hilly), but we didn’t have any major problems. We loved walking around the cabin area with our dogs, too. I would stay here again!

Overall we had a great stay! Check-in was a little tricky since the address on AirBnB took us directly to the cabin rather than the building for check-in which was several miles away. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was stocked with very basic utensils. Be sure to bring your own deck chairs if you want to enjoy the porch.

The cabin was perfect for what we wanted on our Bachelorette trip! We wanted a place with a hot tub and this tub was amazing; it's covered with a roof and on a separate part of the deck... felt like a resort being in there while it rained. FYI, the room with two Queen beds is the loft and is pretty toasty.

The cabin was a nice weekend retreat and close to many activities. I would recommend taking a vehicle that sits a little higher when renting this cabin as the road to it is definitely a country road.

Cabin was so cozy and in such a beautiful location. Solid kitchen set up with all needed dishes/utensils. The water supposedly is not safe for drinking so you have to bring in your own drinking water (although the sink water tastes fine and does not smell). The shower water does have a bit of a strange smell. We had some issues with the hottub and it stopped working on our last night. Otherwise great stay, stunning views and lovely cozy cabin.

Great cabin. It was hard to get the temperature consistent throughout the cabin always felt too hot or too cold, but great otherwise. Some pet hair on couches (to be expected in pet friendly cabin). Easy check-in and check out, close to everything in RRG. Will stay again.

Beautiful cabin! As noted in the description, make sure your car can go off-road, it’s quite a hike uphill on a single labs road, but it’s worth it. Great hot tub, fireplace, and TV. host/staff were responsive and kind. Only complaint was that there was only cheap bar soap and no shampoo - recommend bringing your own toiletries.

Deborah’s cabin offered lots of space, great location, and a clean hot tub! A rustic cabin meets modern amenities. The road getting to the cabin is beautiful, but a vehicle with ground clearance is a must. It was easy to get to most crags and hikes from the cabin, no more than a 25 minute drive to Northern locations. Would stay again and recommend!

You could smell the place was just cleaned as we walked in. It was a fun place to stay! We visited early October and had many acorns or something similar hit the metal roof which would result in a very loud sound that would wake us up throughout the night but other than that we had no issues!

The cabin is just what we needed. it was very clean. You could tell some of the things were older. The towels were older, and the couch had a couple of holes. Also the place could have been a lot more welcoming with some curtains on the windows. Those are not even complaints, just more letting people what to expect. We are still happy with our stay and would be happy to rent from Deborah again. The most important part was the cleanliness, and I have no complaints whatsoever with the cleanliness. The location is remote, up a fairly steep and windy gravel hill so keep that in mind. you might be best with at least a front wheel drive vehicle. Bad weather may require 4 wheel drive. Loved the remote location. Be warned however that the cabin is in the woods. The wilderness comes all the way up to the windows in the back because of this, things drop offthe trees, and hit the tin roof and sounds really scary. we had to really get used to that. overall it was a very good stay and I recommend

Great location - close to everything. Cabin was very clean. It is through a company so you have to stop and pick up keys. They had a map to the cabin which was great since we arrived late. Road was. Little tricky in the dark but not a problem.
Staff were very helpful- even offering better directions than gps.

Bring plenty of drinking water - wasn’t aware you can’t drink the water at the cabin.

Stayed at rockyhill lodge just after Christmas. They just had a snow storm but we made the best of it. Staff was very profesional and courteous. Loved the cabin and was very peaceful. Had wild chickens come down the hill several different times. That was neet to see. Will definately come back.
