Avery’s Lakeside Cottage

The property is so beautiful and peaceful. The outdoor deck and backyard with a firepit were perfect for our family gathering. We loved watching the cows from afar and when they came up near the fence. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this is it.

Cozy cabin-like house in a beautiful setting. Great landing spot for adventure in the gorge and park. Access to restaurants close by is limited, but there’s a grocery store close and cooking at the house was great!

Great, private cabin with many zones for hanging our after a ling day of climbing. Hot tub zone. Firepit zone. Sun room zone. Porch with bar zone. Kitchen zone was great too!. Loved it and would definitely come back.

This place is wonderful! So relaxing! I didn't watch TVonce while I was there. Watching the beautiful Scenery from the porch swings was enough for me. Best hot tub I've ever been in!! And I love the multiple living areas. My favorite part was sitting at the bar underneath the fan watching my husband fish in the pond & watching the cows sneak up on him to cool off, you're talking about a good laugh lolz! The farm dog Boomer is super friendly, he escorts you all around the property but doesn't go past the gate entrance, you're on your own then lolz! The farm cat fuzzy is very friendly as well. There are 2 hidden hideaway rooms on the top floor. Unfortunately my husband lost his black wedding ring there so if anyone finds it PLEASE infor Rick or someone from the office that you check in @ so that they can contact us. Rick is very friendly & will bring you firewood & newspaper for a bonfire. We WILL be back!

Wonderful cabin in a very quiet setting. Loved the farm animals. The high speed internet was perfect. Had 4 people working while we were here without issue. Rick was extremely friendly and helpful. Close to hiking trails and food. Would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

What a wonderful time we had at Annette's Hideaway. My cousins and I planned a few days of hiking, adventuring, cooking together and games-essentially, just connecting like we did when we were kids. Annette's was the perfect place for us! Perhaps what made it so special were 2 unique features: the pets that live here and the owner. Rick, Bommer and Fuzzy greeted us upon arrival and always were really making a bonfire for us to dropping off a special grill to the fantastic back story of Annette's (ask him!!) his hospitality was second to none. We will be back!

Beautiful Property! Easy check in and check out. Very Clean and has all amenities and supplies you could need. The view is gorgeous! Our children loved it as much as we did. it feels like home. We plan on making this our "Go-to" destination. The area and things to do are just wonderful. perfect for making family memories.

It has been a pleasure staying here. We love the property and have fallen in love with Bommer and Fuzzzy. My husband caught a bass in the pond, our children have loved running around and watching the cows. We have had a blast! We look forward to coming back! Thank you for a great stay!

The cabin ins unique and has beautiful views. Hot tub is AMAZING! Loved watching the cows in the fields and listening to the roosters. Fuzzy and Bommer were completely sweet and attentive companions our entire stay. The owner was so nice to drop off camp chairs at the fire pit for us. We felt totally welcomed and at home.

Perfect vacation. Met family from other states for reunion. Absolutely unique place to stay. Everything was in tip top shape and the cabin was fantastic. Large rooms and relaxing sun room with view. We enjoyed the outdoors so much. Boys fished in pond for hours. Back patio is great at night with the lights. Such friendly owner and dog Bommer and cat Fuzzy! Would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity.

WE had an amazing time! We love the back deck. Swinging ion the porch swing and rocking chair and enjoying the view. The cabin was nice. We enjoyed the hot tub at night. It was a very peaceful vacation spent enjoying what nature had to offer al around us! We love Rick! Great host! Very personable! We would love to come back. We also love the farm cat and dog!

The view was great and the house had lots of beds. The layout of the place was different but if you had two families that wanted there own kitchen u had it.

We were looking for a family friendly vacation that was relaxing and peaceful and this place delivered! The house itself is on a cattle farm, complete with farm dog (Bommer) and farm cat (Fuzzy). Bommer & Fuzzy are very friendly and will greet you when you arrive and give you pet therapy, if you need it. Bommer was also good with our dog. The house is uniquely laid out (lots of step downs/step ups), but clean and comfortable. The sunroom was our favorite room. Location is great as you feel like you’re away from it all, yet are close to a grocery store and all the area has to offer. We enjoyed the area hiking and nature. Owner/Farmer was out taking care of the animals and a pleasure to talk to. We feel rested and rejuvenated and look forward to returning soon!

The bed Numbers are off a Little. There are three full sized beds to sleep on (2 in one room & 1 on a separate room) but then there is an Attic space converted to a Full sized bed room (which was OK) but then 2 other single beds in small quarters that only kids might stay in. The Owner was Very nice & took care of things quickly when called. Beautiful piece of property! Loved sitting in the Sun-room & the Hot Tube was very nice! Would stay there again !

Very friendly owner with such an interesting story around the farm. Great place to stay, great hot tub, nice fire pit, good bedrooms and bathrooms. Nothing fancy... all you need after a day outdoors. Totally recommend.

This house was private from other homes/cabins, very interesting in design, clean and extremely comfortable. The wood burning stove was a bonus and delight. The home was well kept and clean; my friends and I would love to return with our families!

The home was amazing !! Very unique layout . The owner was insight a lot taking care of the animals and was very kind . I would rent this cabin again !!

I do housekeeping for a living-every other cabin I have stayed in has not been clean to my standards thank you so much for your effort to keep up the good work.. The cabin is beautiful. It felt great to see my children enjoy the outdoors with little worry. I will for sure come back again. Thank you so much.

My kids and Grandkids love coming here. This is our second time staying at Annette'. I personally love the sun room. They enjoy hiking and sight seeing. The grounds are beautiful and so relaxing. We'll be back possibly next year.
