The experience was amazing. The cabin was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. We will be back for another stay.

Discovered Paradise! The exquisite hardwood of this home was truly breathtaking. Its interior design harmoniously aligns with the tranquil ambiance one desires. Imagine lounging on the deck, nestled among the treetops, serenaded by the melodies of songbirds. Was able to enjoy soul-soothing symphony of raindrops on the metal roof as I unwound in the hot tub. Cherished the seclusion of this retreat, accentuated by a majestic big leaf magnolia near the cabin. My only regret was not staying longer. A return visit is unquestionably on the horizon!

This was a great spot. Surrounded by woods, very relaxing. Hot tub was clean and in good working order. Only 3 quibbles. 1. The place was a bit cold, maybe because weather had been warm and then got cold quickly. The cabin is 2-storey and open to the ceiling (which is nice for light), so heat from the space heaters and fireplace quickly went upstairs, meaning the upstairs was hot and the downstairs cold, but maybe that's just what you have to live with with a floorplan like this. 2. The cookware is very basic. 3. Wifi wasn't working. None of that dampened our enjoyment too much, especially since we mainly wanted to hike in the Gorge and soak in the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable…we will stay here again.

It was everything I wanted. The only negative thing i can say is that the appliances were just a touch old, but everything worked, everything was clean. I got everything I wanted for a price I was willing to pay. I will come back.

This place was excellent. The directions were very straight forward and easy to follow. The space was great and the bed was very comfortable. 10/10 would book again.

Loved our stay. It was even better than expected! Very peaceful, quiet, far off the beaten path, yet close enough to all the activities to feel like we were only a moment’s drive from wherever we were headed.

We do wish we had brought a little more food from home- finding a grocery store in this area was tough. Also, the circle drive was a little disconcerting when we arrived- it was very dark and takes a sharp, steep turn to the left - once we became familiar with it, it was no biggie- but in case it helps out future travelers…..

Overall, loved this spot and we definitely hope to return to this cabin on a future visit!

We absolutely love this cabin! The location is nice and private and the hot tub is wonderful after a day of hiking! The bed is very comfortable and it is nice to be able to do laundry whenever you need to. There are ice cube trays in the freezer, salt and pepper, coffee filters and coffee pot. I would recommend bringing some extra toilet paper and laundry detergent. They do supply some but we were there for 6 nights and it wasn’t quite enough. There wasn’t much wood when we arrived but it had snowed about 5 inches the night before so it was understandable. We did find a house selling nice large bundles of wood for $5, if you turn left out of the driveway and go a mile down the road. Can’t miss the sign on the left hand side of the road. Just saying all of this so people can come prepared. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again! The hosts were great and quick to respond. Check in was a breeze. This vacation will be a herd one to top!

Woodland Mist is a lovely, secluded, uniquely designed log cabin in the woods. It is perfect for a get-away for two. Everything you need for creature comfort is there, although you might find the bath towels in the dryer waiting for you to arrive. If you plan to cook, bring all the ingredients you need as there are very few spices, oils, and condiments in the kitchen. Good news...everything else you need to cook is there. The hot tub is perfect for two, conveniently tucked away on the back corner of the deck. If you are quiet and patient you might see deer and squirrels and birds. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Woodland Mist in the Red River Gorge.

Cabin is beautiful & well labeled. The weather was snowy and pretty. Th cleaning crew was not able to prepare the cabin, so it was not ready when we got here, but the gentleman who helped out was very nice and accommodating. There was a couple of big snow storms this week, so that's understandable. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Woodland Mist is the BEST cabin if you're looking for seclusion and relaxation. We have stayed here 3 times and we always hate to leave! We have tried other cabin companies but NBC company is by far the BEST!! We love this little cabin and we will be back again and again and again! Thanks you for a wonderful get away in a beautiful cabin in the woods!

The cabin is cozy and feels like home. It's where we visit in our minds when life gets stressful, and is even better in person. A short drive from several good local restaurants (try Sky Bridge Station, Rockhouse and Red River Smokehouse!) and any hiking trail in the area-no matter your level of experience you're sure to find something enjoyable if you feel the need to leave the cabin.

We loved this cabin! We spent our 3rd anniversary here ad couldn't have picked a better place. This is the best place we have ever stayed and we already can't wait to come back. The cabin is beautifully built and is in the most serene location. The cabin has everything you nee for a home away from home. The hot tub and fire pit are amazing. We saw a lot of wildlife and loved being on the porch with our coffee.

WOW...just Wow! What a great time.

The cabin was great. It was secluded and perfect for our get away from all the noise. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the sounds of the nature around us and in the hot tub. We look forward to visiting this cabin again. I would suggest that a couple of games be added in the cabin for rainy days. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to visit.

We celebrated our 4th Anniversary here and loved it! Our pastor and his wife drove down from Cincinnati and renewed our vows for us. We didn’t do much site seeing because we didn’t want to leave this beautiful cabin.

We started planning our return trip within minutes of our arrival. This is a lovely and comfortable cabin that perfectly encapsulates what you should picture in your mind when you are just looking to”get away”. Very clean, very romantic! The kitchen and toiletries were well stocked. The rental team is very friendly and allowed us to come in well after check-in time had normally passed...

Upon Arrival I found the setting to me “awe inspiring” and totally immerst in the serenity and beauty and the sounds of nature....Relaxing and hiking around the property; Ashley followed the sounds of water plashing and ended up down at a small waterfall...

Thank you for an awesome weekend!Keep doing things just the way you are! The cast iron skillet and games are great touches and make it feel like home. Best vacation ever! Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Another fantastic weekend at our favorite cabin! Unfortunately there was a fire ban here so we couldn’t use the fire pit but the hot tub was great. Needed peace and solace after the election and this was the perfect place...although I’m not to sure I liked that you guys added wifi Winking smile Love the amenities and simple touches you have here, will be back in 2017!

We LOVED our romantic getaway at Woodland Mist! The cabin was absolutely perfect for us. The back porch view is spectacular and the hot tub placement couldn't be better. We loved the breakfast nook. This cabin is so charming and cozy. I highly recommend it for a couple. It was a pleasant surprise that it had a little Christmas tree next to the fireplace. We definitely felt home away from home.

Great location with an amazing view. Perfect place to relax in the hot tub and outdoor fire pit after a long day of hiking. Lots of windows that allow beautiful natural light through in the morning making you feel refreshed and ready to start another day of adventures!
